Job Description: 

The business analyst will serve as a member of the Customer Contracting Solutions (CCS) interfacing with JJHCS internal and external business partners and customers; including but not limited to Channel Partners including Medical Device Distributors and Pharmaceutical Wholesalers, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Operating Company personnel, Field Sales, Account Management, and internal JJHCS departments. This role will have responsibilities to collect, manage and analyze data from multiple sources, understanding changes, preparing standing and ad-hoc reports and, making key recommendations based on the data.  This role will also support field inquiries of varying types (primarily phone and e-mail) and complexity (i.e. contract pricing/eligibility, notification problems, pricing discrepancies, etc.) for several accounts that may include large to medium pharmaceutical wholesalers and Medical Device distributors as well as end user customers.    


A proven track record of experience in handling, analyzing and synthetizing data and reporting for multiple stakeholders, developing and delivering solutions using MS. Access, MS. Excel, ODBC Linkages, Oracle and, data visualization applications. Proven ability to problem solving skills as well as interdependent partnering to resolve complex business matters is preferred.  Statistics and process excellence knowledge is preferred.

  • Must be action oriented and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Must be able to define, create and maintain reports to reflect issue resolution performance; identify opportunities and make recommendations that could potentially enhance the customer experience; and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions. 
  • Must be able to effectively utilize many different software applications and systems with ease including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience in Interact, CARS, and Cognos is preferred.  


  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years experience as an Analyst or similar role 
  • Strong Analytical expertise with excellent applications skills (Excel, Access, Cognos,  PowerPoint, Minitab)
  • Statistics and process excellence knowledge is preferred.
  • Tableau business software knowledge is a plus  
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills • Detail oriented, dependable and motivated
