JOB OVERVIEW 

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Accurate and efficient processing of daily discount pricing requests including data entry, data validation, customer notifications. 
  • Create “future” pricing for proposal process 
  • Create, track and monitor proposals and contracts throughout negotiation process 
  • Input contracts in system and generate customized data 
  • Maintain membership data on contracted GPOs 
  • Maintain contract information in FileMaker database 
  • Contract preparation utilizing templated Word documents and advanced Word functionality. Verification of approvals and content of submitted requests. 
  • Contract tracking and expiration reporting. Follow-up on renewal activity for expiring contracts. 
  • Research customer participation listings and pricing concerns, generate customer specific price book files, and distribute customer discounted pricing confirmations. 
  • Contract compliance calculations utilizing data downloads and advanced Excel functionality. 
  • Timely document retention in accordance with established guidelines. 
  • Create, maintain, generate and distribute monthly and quarterly reports as required to field, sales management 
  • Support and participate in annual price increase and annual discounted pricing review processes 
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested 
  • Special projects as assigned 

Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Bachelors Degree preferred. 
  • Contracting or Finance background. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with: Advanced Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables; data imports/conversions; formatting); Advanced Word (merging; templates; tables; footers/headers; table of contents); Outlook (using draft messages and storing messages in subfolders, exporting messages/files). 
  • Ability to manipulate data from various download sources. 
  • Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently with verbal instructions and pre-established guidelines. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Pleasant and helpful phone manner. 
  • SAP knowledge preferred, but not necessary.
