JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities 

  • Manage employee relations including, responding to hotline compliants, investigations and performance mananagment improvement plans and other related employee relations issues. 
  • Collects and analyzes HR data and makes recommendations. 
  • Processes paperwork for new hire packages for distribution to employees according to company procedures. 
  • Works with management team to develop compensation recommendations and to develop new job descriptions for new positions. 
  • Communicates company policies to new managers. 
  • Processes paperwork for changes to salary, benefits, position, terminations, obtains approvals and submits to payroll for processing according to company policies. 
  • Coordinates STD paperwork and updates with employees and management 
  • Sets up and maintains various human resources related lists for new hires, terminations, monthly roster and distributes to management 
  • Interfaces with payroll on HR related issues 
  • Maintains HR training files for compliance with FDA guidelines for a medical device manufacturing company 
  • Facilitates New Hire Orientation Training regarding Sexual Harrassment and Workers' Comp injury reporting 

Qualifications 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Possess strong PC skills including MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Must have an HR Degree and 8 years'of HR experience preferably in an employee relations role.
