  • Passionate about utilizing multi-channel marketing technologies to reach consumers, build strong brand relationships, and deliver an unparalleled consumer experience. 
  • Design, develop, test and measure email marketing campaigns for J&J US Consumer using an Email Service Provider(ESP) toolset 
  • Develop HTML email templates and drive reuse of these templates across the organization. 
  • Effectively manage consumer lists, list hygiene, opt data, and consumer preferences 
  • Implement and maintain segmentation and targeting rules 
  • Execute pre-deployment testing using both automated tools and manual processes 
  • Serve as the Email Marketing subject matter expert for the J&J US Consumer business 
  • Define and implement email marketing technologies, standards and best practices 
  • Understand and communicate latest multi-channel communication capabilities 
  • Manage all aspects of the email campaign lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables are delivered on-time, within budget and according to business requirements. 
  • Communicate status of individual campaigns and the health of the overall portfolio 
  • Define and maintain email campaign standards and process documentation 
  • Monitor and report on email metrics such as open, click, opt-out, and conversion rates, and identify methods for tracking conversion and ROI. 
  • Monitor the technology landscape for multi-channel marketing technology providers, capabilities, innovative approaches and tools 
  • Stay current on industry standards and key polices effecting or influencing the multi-channel marketing space. 
  • Work cross-functionally with client's brands, technology teams, agencies, and internal teams 


  • BA or BS required 
  • 4+ years of experience within information technology, marketing operations or equivalent role. 
  • 2+ years of experience implementing email marketing campaigns (client side, agency, or email service provider) using a leading Email Service Provider. Experience with Responsys Interact Suite is a plus. 
  • 2+ years of hands on experience developing emails using HTML and CSS 
  • Experience with Photoshop or comparable graphic design tool is preferred 
  • Knowledge of best practices for creating emails, dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws 
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication abilities in order to work with a broad array of client, agency, and vendor contacts 
  • Passion for online/email marketing and strong knowledge of internet marketing 
  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment 
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
