JOB OVERVIEW 

The R&D Global Process Lead is responsible for supporting: 

  • Development and deployment of the R&D End to End Process Map and Reducing Complexity initiative 
  • Deployment and implementation of the Enterprise Document Hierarchy within the Consumer Sector 
  • Deployment of Sector and Enterprise Standards for R&D worldwide, ensuring gaps are understood, and action taken to implement corrective actions, status across each region tracked and reported to Management. 

The R&D Global Process will drive out effective optimization and harmonization of key Quality System processes in all regions in the consumer sector and ensuring that: 

  • Processes are aligned with the client's Quality System and meets regional Health Authority requirements. 
  • Consistent practices are being deployed across the regions. 
  • Global metrics are developed and monitored, providing visibility of similar issues across regions and enabling corrective and preventative actions to be taken 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide leadership and support in the development of the R&D End to End process map, including identification of gaps, redundancies and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with partners to prioritize and build action plans to address identified issues. Drive out action plans as assigned by Project Leaders and Management. 
  • Support the Consumer Quality System Integration and Transition Plan. Participate in the development of WWSPs associated with Enterprise Standards. Participate in / Lead the mapping of existing Consumer procedural documents to newly drafted WWSP and Enterprise Standards. Support change management associated with integration and transition plan. 
  • Actively develop and manage relationships with process users, business owners, J&J affiliates, and external organizations to insure harmonized and consistent R&D processes, and to provide guidance / direction regarding execution of R&D processes. Runs the Community of practice globally to ensure communication is fluid and ambiguity or inconsistency in practice is eliminated. 
  • Lead the Consumer Sector deployment activities (gap assessment, remediation planning, oversight of CAPAs, etc) related to Enterprise Standards. Support regulatory inspections. Ensure audit readiness of global processes and documentation relative to the compliance framework.
