This is primarily a laboratory-based position in an exploratory/clinical research setting. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for the development, validation, and implementation of existing and novel assays for investigating cellular oncology responses, mechanism of action, as well as biomarker identification and analysis for biologic agents and small molecules in development. This individual will also have the responsibility of conducting the analysis of biological samples associated with various ongoing pre-clinical and clinical studies while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Summary of essential job functions
• Develop various cell-based and other immunoassays to evaluate biomarkers in support of pre- clinical and clinical studies in oncology.
• Involved in preclinical sample analysis and sample inventory and tracking.
• Analyze samples and provide detailed data analysis for report preparation and presentation.
• Maintain accurate records of experimentation in a laboratory notebook and present them at working group meetings.
• Responsible for maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment (including software etc).
Minimum requirements
• Has a bachelor’s degree in biological or physical sciences
• Has at least 5 years wet laboratory experience
• Has experience in flow cytometry, mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology techniques, protein chemistry, genomic techniques including GEP and Taqman.
